Dr. Aaron Sappenfield, Ph.D., P.G.
Senior Project Manager & Professional Geologist
Dr. Sappenfield is a State-licensed Professional Geologist with extensive and diverse experience supporting projects in both the environmental and geotechnical sectors. These efforts include serving as a project manager and geological/hydrogeological technical lead supporting the design and construction of large-scale civil infrastructure; risk assessment; hazard mitigation; litigation; environmental monitoring; remediation; and conceptual site model development. Much of this experience has involved coordination among regulators, other technical experts, and multiple potentially responsible parties (PRPs) to implement productive and cost-effective investigative and remedial strategies at high-profile Superfund sites throughout southern California.
Dr. Sappenfield earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Riverside. He is also an Associate Professor of Geology at Riverside City College.
