Carrie Williams, P.G.

Senior Project Manager & Professional Geologist

Carrie Williams is a registered professional geologist in Georgia with over 25 years of experience in environmental remediation and site management. Before joining PathForward, she led planning, remediation, and oversight of hazardous waste sites at American Environmental & Construction Services, where her expertise in contaminant modeling, risk assessment, and site characterization supported Georgia’s Response and Remediation Program Trust Fund for more than a decade. Previously, as a Senior Geologist and Compliance Officer at Georgia EPD, Carrie managed complex contaminated sites, including unpermitted landfills and multi-party PRP sites, implementing corrective actions like soil vapor extraction and in-situ chemical oxidation. Her technical leadership earned her the EPD Director’s Recognition of Exceptional Performance and the “Geologist of the Year” award. She has shared her field insights nationally, including invited presentations at EPA forums and international conferences, and has contributed to EPA/OSRTI’s Clu-In Technology News and Trends.

​Carrie holds a B.S. in Biology and an M.S. in Hydrogeology from Clemson University, embodying a commitment to practical and innovative environmental solutions.
